How to win in business without losing in life.

Your next three moves

Most entrepreneurs make a trade they never agreed to. They pour everything into the business, their time, their health, their presence, their peace, and the business grows.

On paper it looks like winning, but look closer and the marriage is strained, the children are strangers, the body is running on empty, and the faith that once grounded them has become background noise.

They won in business. They lost in life. The freedom they chased through the company became the cage they could not leave. They got the thing and in getting the thing, they lost the thing they got it for.

The business was supposed to be the answer. More time. More freedom. More of everything that mattered. At some point between the first year and the fifth, the founder looks up and realizes the business became the question mark over everything they built it for.

The real question becomes simple.

What are your next three moves to keep winning in business without losing everything else.

After 10 sold out events last year, Somali Circle is back. The last one, the Goat Herders, was the biggest event yet. More than 300 Somali entrepreneurs came together in London.

The largest gathering of Somali founders this country has seen. On May 2nd in London, Somali Circle is bringing 150 entrepreneurs and the mentors who have already solved the hardest problem in business. How to win without losing in life. And how to decide your next three moves before everything else starts slipping.

The Four pillars

01

Deen

Shaykh Abdullahi Hussein is a community educator and speaker whose work focuses on faith, personal development, and holistic wellbeing. Grounded in Islamic tradition and deeply aware of contemporary challenges, he addresses the spiritual, emotional, and practical realities facing Muslims today with clarity and sincerity.

Shaykh Abdullahi is known for speaking to the inner struggles many experience but rarely articulate, encouraging meaningful change through intentional living and consistency rather than rhetoric.

He is here to show you how to live it when everything around you is moving fast and demanding more than you feel you have.

Some of the topics we cover:

  • How ambition quietly pushes faith to the edges of your life and how to bring it back.

  • How to stop splitting yourself between the founder and the believer and start being both at the same time.

  • What the Deen Teaches About Rizq. Your provision is already written. Here is what that actually means for how you build and how you rest.

  • The Islamic Work - doing everything to the highest standard as an act of worship. What your business looks like when that is the operating principle.

  • This pillar starts with the deen as the operating system underneath everything you are trying to build.

02

Health

Dr. Abdullahi Hashi & Dr. Abdifattah are both practicing NHS doctors. Between them they carry years of frontline clinical experience. They have seen what happens when the body is ignored long enough. They have sat with patients who would give everything they have built just to have their health back. That is the perspective they bring into this room.

They are here to tell you what they see at work every day and how you can optimize your health.

There is an old saying: a healthy person has a thousand wishes. A sick person has one. This session starts there.

Some of the topics we cover:

  • Insights from the hospital floor. What doctors and physicians see; the person lying in a hospital bed is not thinking about their revenue targets. They are thinking about one thing. We bring that perspective into the room

  • We get into the science of how to access flow state consistently, and why most founders accidentally block it every single day.

  • The research on what happens to your decision-making, your emotional regulation, and your business judgment when you are not sleeping properly.

  • The goal of this pillar is to understand that the business demands everything from you. This session is about making sure there is still something left to give.

03

Relationship

Most entrepreneurs are physically present but mentally somewhere else entirely. They are at the dinner table but inside the business. They are with their children but inside their phone. They are next to the people they love most and completely unreachable.

Islam places the love of your family, your spouse, your children, your parents at the centre of a meaningful life. Not as a nice addition to your success. As a condition of it.

The people you love were there before the business. This session is about making sure they are still there when the building is done.

Some of the topics we cover:

  • What it means to be truly present and to love with intention.

  • The founder who has everything moving and nothing grounded. How to show up fully for the people who need you most.

  • Your family deserves more than the version of you that is left over after the business has taken its share.

  • The goal of this pillar is to understand that the people around you are paying a price for your ambition. This session is about making sure it is not a price they never agreed to.

04

Wealth

Iman Fartum built a seven-figure fashion brand and then did it again with her own tech platform. She did not talk about building. She built. She knows what the numbers look like at the beginning when they are uncomfortable, and what they look like when the work compounds. She has lived both ends of that journey and she is here to give you the honest version of what it actually takes.

Mohammed Hashu is a serial entrepreneur and multi-passionate builder who believes the biggest barrier between most people and the life they want is not opportunity, resources, or timing. It is the identity that was built between the ages of four and twenty-two and has been running their decisions ever since.

Some of the topics we cover:

  • How to get your finances right as an entrepreneur. The practical steps, the real numbers, and the decisions that actually move the needle.

  • Your degree is not your ceiling. How to stop letting a decision you made at seventeen define what you are capable of building today.

  • The world is moving fast. AI is moving fast. Opportunities are here right now. This session is about making sure you have the mindset to see them and the courage to act on them.

  • The wealthy mindset. Wealth is not a number. It is how you think, how you make decisions, and how you see opportunity where most people see a closed door.

  • The goal of this pillar is to understand that the business cannot save you financially if you do not understand money and the mindset behind it. This session is about making sure you do.

No. This event is for anyone serious about building, scaling or entering the business space. Whether you are early or already generating revenue, you will be surrounded by people who push you forward.
